Our Commitment
Home for Every Hero is committed to good stewardship of every gift entrusted to us. We understand that mistakes happen and we want our donors to feel confident in giving.
One-Time Donations
If you made a one-time donation in error (wrong amount, duplicate charge, or unauthorized transaction), please contact us within 30 days of the transaction at info@homeforeveryhero.org. We will review and, where appropriate, issue a full refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Monthly Recurring Donations
You may cancel a monthly donation at any time by emailing info@homeforeveryhero.org. Cancellations take effect before the next scheduled charge. If a recurring charge processed after a cancellation request, we will refund that charge in full.
Tax Receipts
If a donation is refunded, the corresponding tax receipt is no longer valid. If you have already received a receipt for a refunded gift, please discard it and contact us if you need a corrected statement.
How to Request a Refund
Email info@homeforeveryhero.org with:
- Your full name and email used to donate
- Donation amount and approximate date
- Reason for the refund request
